Black Hills Industrial Center Continues Expansion with New Industrial Lots Available
The Black Hills Industrial Center continues to position itself as a leading destination for industrial and commercial growth in western South Dakota. With Phase One officially completed and Phase Two beginning in summer 2026, the development is creating new opportunities for businesses searching for industrial lots in the Black Hills, commercial development land, and strategic locations for expansion.
Located near Rapid City, the Black Hills Industrial Center has already opened more than 60 acres of industrial development land, helping support continued economic growth across the region. Demand for industrial lots has remained strong, with approximately 75% of Phase One lots already sold or closed.
The development has quickly attracted nationally recognized tenants, including Sequitor Edge Data Center, reinforcing the area’s growing reputation as a hub for logistics, technology, warehousing, manufacturing, and commercial operations. At full buildout, Phase One is expected to exceed 300,000 square feet of industrial and commercial space.
As industrial growth in South Dakota continues, the Black Hills Industrial Center offers businesses access to strategically located industrial property with proximity to major transportation routes, growing workforce opportunities, and expanding infrastructure.
Looking ahead, Phase Two construction is scheduled to begin in summer 2026 and will introduce an additional 110 acres of industrial land for sale in the Black Hills region. The expansion is expected to attract additional large-scale employers and strengthen long-term economic development efforts throughout western South Dakota.
As businesses continue seeking industrial lots near Rapid City and development-ready commercial land in South Dakota, the Black Hills Industrial Center remains a key location for future growth and investment.
